NO RECORDING POLICY:
OMG strictly forbids the use of video or audio recording devices in all meetings including (but not limited to), gatherings, receptions, workshops, Information Days, co-located meetings and special sessions without the express written permission of OMG. Permission must be obtained in advance of the meeting and must indicate the intended use of the audio or video recording. Recording a meeting for public broadcast or financial gain is prohibited. Any unauthorized recording is subject to seizure without compensation.
Announcing the Business Architecture Core Metamodel
On Monday March 18th, the Business Architecture Guild® is sponsoring an evening reception at the OMG quarterly meeting in Reston, VA. At that reception, the Guild will introduce a new industry open standard called the Business Architecture Core Metamodel (BACM). The BACM is an open specification designed to represent business architecture domains in a formal metamodel. This new standard allows tool vendors to more effectively and more formally support business architecture practices at organizations around the globe. The reception will feature a brief BACM overview, introduce the OMG members who contributed to the standardization effort, and respond to questions that arise. Please join the Guild as we celebrate another major milestone for the business architecture discipline.
20 Years of DDS Innovation
Panel Discussion: The Past, Present and Future of the DDS standard
This year marks 20 years of DDS innovation. In two decades, the standard has grown from its first use case for the US Navy, to the thousands of sophisticated systems running DDS today. With 14 specifications in the DDS standard, there has been a lot of progress, yet there's plenty of expansion ahead.
Please join the DDS Foundation and members of the DDS Technical Special Interest Group for a special lunchtime panel presentation on Wednesday, March 20 at the OMG members meeting in Reston, Virginia.
