Announcing the Business Architecture Core Metamodel (BACM)

On Monday evening, March 18th, the Business Architecture Guild® is sponsoring an evening reception at the OMG Member Meeting in Reston, VA. At that reception, the Guild will introduce a new industry open standard called the Business Architecture Core Metamodel (BACM). The BACM is an open specification designed to represent business architecture domains in a formal metamodel. This new standard allows tool vendors to more effectively and more formally support business architecture practices at organizations around the globe. The reception will feature a brief BACM overview, introduce the OMG members who contributed to the standardization effort, and respond to questions that arise.
